The overall performance of crude oil is predominantly weak, and the supply-demand dynamics in the benzene market have weakened. The cost side not only fails to provide support but may even have the probability of guiding the price of styrene downwards.
From the perspective of styrene’s own supply and demand, although there are maintenance plans on the supply side, they have not yet been carried out. Even if the load of individual units decreases slightly, it is difficult to achieve a significant reduction in output. On the demand side, growth is limited, with most demand remaining stable. Therefore, the broad balance in styrene’s supply and demand persists. Overall, the driving force for styrene to strengthen is not strong, and it is expected to mainly exhibit small-amplitude fluctuations.
