The international crude oil continued to fluctuate within a wide range last week and finally closed lower.
Toluene and
xylene in the East China region operated in a relatively stagnant state. The production load of Shandong refineries was the same as that of the previous week. The operation of disproportionation units on the demand side was average, and the support rate for the market was insufficient. In terms of oil products, gasoline was weak while diesel was strong, and some refineries experienced inventory accumulation. Overall, there were limited changes in the toluene market. Influenced by centralized procurement by a certain factory in Lianyungang and other factors in the downstream of xylene, the market center shifted upward.

It is expected that there will be many uncertain factors in the external environment this week. In the East China region, most operators will remain cautious. Currently, Shandong refineries are restricted by costs and are highly likely to operate stably or experience a small-scale correction. Pay attention to the impact brought by external news and relevant policies, and cautious operation is required.
